Yesterday, we read that God does not make promises, It is man who makes promises of which he may not live to fulfill. God is a doing God! God is a doer. Hallelujah!
We must understand that God is a spirit and does not think or act or respond like a man. That is why, He gave us His spirit to be able to think, act, and respond like Him.
So we cannot work with God based on our earthly pattern of thinking and get results.
When we approach God by our earthly way or pattern of reasoning we struggle. That is when we see ourselves begging God for what He has already given. But when we approach God by the spiritual knowledge of who God is, we live with ease. Because we know God has already given to us all that we will ever need to live a godly life and a good life. His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.
So you see that God has given us all things and the way we access all these is by the spiritual knowledge of the creator who has called us by His glory and excellence and not the earthly knowledge.
Paul speaking in Eph 1:27-19 said “ [I always pray] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may grant you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation [that gives you a deep and personal and intimate insight] into the true knowledge of Him [for we know the Father through the Son]. And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (God’s people), and [so that you will begin to know] what the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His [active, spiritual] power is in us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of His mighty strength
Ephesians 1:17-19 – AMP
Just like Paul, I prayed that your eyes be opened to the reality of who God has made you to be in this world. That you comprehend the unlimited power God has placed in you. Oh glory to God!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank you for your word which builds me up daily. I declare I have the spirit of wisdom and of revelation that gives me a deep and personal and intimate insight into your true knowledge in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
