For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!
Romans 5:17 NIV
By Being born again, we have been received God’s abundant grace and His gift of righteousness. Grace is the unmerited favour or blessing of God. Righteousness on the other hand is the ability to have right standing with God; it’s another word for justification which is to be acquitted from wrong doings, to be declared not guilty.
This is the result of being born again. We have received the grace of God, and are no longer guilty of our sins. Jesus took upon Himself our punishment for sin, died on the cross on our behalf and gave us His life at resurrection. The gift of righteousness and the grace of God is for a purpose. It is given so we can reign in this life. Hallelujah!
The born again experience is a supernatural one. It is the rebirthing of a new spirit. This new spirit, the bible calls the new creation. A creation unhindered, unstoppable, incorruptible, and infallible. The new creation was created by God. What comes from God cannot be defeated. hallelujah!
Your new life is a reigning one. You have been empowered by the grace of God and by the gift of righteousness to reign in this life: reign over sicknesses and diseases. Reign over poverty and lack. Reign over every affliction of the mind, and of the body. Reign over principalities and the powers of darkness. You reign with Christ now. You are on the reining side. This is why you can cast out demons and devils and they obey you. You reign with the reigning King Jesus. Praise God!
All through the month of October, choose to reign in this life. If you don’t reign, you will be ruled by the power of darkness. So, do not underutilize the grace of God and the gift of righteousness you have received. Reign! Hallelujah!
CONFESSION:
I have received the grace of God. I enjoy the blessings of God. I have received the gift of righteousness, I have been acquitted, and I have right standing with God. I reign with Christ Jesus over sickness, diseases, and the powers of darkness. Christ is on my side; He lives inside of me therefore I cannot fail. I reign with the reigning King Jesus. Praise God.
