Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
Acts 3:6 KJV.
A song writer wrote,” If I have Jesus, I have everything.” I believe his writing must have been born out of the revelation of Peter.
Do you know you have something more lasting, and more valuable than silver and gold? Do you know the name of Jesus Christ is given to you for your use and for your good?
This knowledge, will fade away all your troubles, fears, and anxieties. Peter and John were faced with a situation that needed their immediate response. A beggar who has been lame right from his mothers womb asked alms of them. I believe he has been into this business of asking alms all his life but what he always received, was never lasting. It never changed his situation from being a beggar so, he always returned to that same spot at the gate beautiful.
This can be likened to many Christians today. They toil and work themselves out night and day but still remain stagnant. They don’t move forward, no progress, yet they are known for their hard work. The beggar thought all he needed was silver and gold however, Peter understood that this man’s need was more than silver and gold. Peter knew he had a life bearing name. He knew he had a result producing name and he knew that was what this beggar needed. All you need is the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory to God!
Peter knew that if he can just give this beggar this Name, he will no longer be stagnated; he will no longer be known as that crippled beggar, he would be able to create wealth for himself and also give to others. So Peter said, we have something more life transforming, and more lasting to give to you. It’s the name “Jesus Christ of Nazareth.” It’s is important to note that he said “Jesus Christ Of Nazareth.” This is because there might have been various people with the name “Jesus” at that time, as it is even now. But this Jesus was distinct by where he came from___Nazareth.
You must know the name that has been given to you. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. He is the word made flesh and creator of the whole world. His name is holy, powerful, beautiful, and so precious. The day you believed in Him, you received the right to use His name. You can give His name to those in needs as Peter did. You can use His name on your health, finances, and in all matters of life.
“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:17-18 KJV.
Use His name today, and you will never be disappointed; for whosoever calls on the name of the Lord, shall be saved. Hallelujah!

Thank you Lord Jesus for your priceless and precious name given to me. I declare in your name, that all my worries, anxiety, and fears are quenched right now. I receive lasting peace, and the power to create wealth for your glory and praise. Amen!
