We have been on this chapter of scripture for for about two days now and this is because there’s a lot to get from the encounter Gideon had with the Angel of the Lord.
Gideon asked for a sign that it was indeed the Lord who had Appeared and spoken to Him face to face. When He got the sign, he was filled with fear of death because, He knew no man could see God and live however, the Lord said to him, “Peace be unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die.” Verse 23.
Our God is a God of peace, his presence brings peace. He is not a terror to His children; He is a loving father.
He is your peace in the storm; in his presence, death has no power over His children. Fear only thrives in the absence of revelation.
Immediately Gideon caught the revelation of who God is, he built an alter and named it “JEHOVAH SHALOM” meaning: the Lord is peace. This is because in the midst of fear, God gave him peace. hallelujah!
This will be your story from now onwards: you shall experience exponential peace. Jesus said, my peace I give you; not as the world gives.” This peace no human mind can comprehend, it is unexplainable, and it’s divine, and it’s yours.
You may be in trouble, perplexed, or confused. God is your peace; this peace will calm the ranging storm, it will give you direction, and it will comfort you.
Glory to God!
CONFESSION:
I have the Peace of God
God is my peace, and I shall not be afraid. Hallelujah!
