Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.
Luke 9:1 NKJV
Every child of God has been given the power and authority over all demons and to cure all manner of diseases. The child of God should therefore not be afraid of demons or diseases.
Just like Jesus, demons trembles at the presence of the child of God, diseases can’t thrive in your presence. Hallelujah!
Are you a child of God? Then I’m talking to you. You have no reason to fear because what you fear is afraid of you in reality. Demons only thrive when they realize you don’t know who you are and what power and authority you possess as a child of God.
Don’t be afraid of darkness, you are a child of the day and you rule over the night because, you are the light of the world. There are many who don’t pray to see the night because they are afraid and can’t sleep. That shouldn’t be you. You have been brought out of darkness into God’s marvellous light. You are a child of light and you shine even in darkness. Glory to God.
Don’t be afraid of a virus or a disease: you have the power in you to heal all manner of diseases and viruses. Many run from people when they perceive they might have a sickness or a disease but it shouldn’t be you. You have been called to heal them. Don’t be afraid of contacting rather be conscious of transmitting healing to them.
The bible says “ Behold I have given you authority…Luke 10:19” It didn’t say “I will give you but I HAVE GIVEN YOU”. God gave it to you the day you believed.
You already have this power and authority and it’s in you, and you activate it in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
The devil uses fear to cripple many and how he does this is by making them focus on the wrong things. When you stop studying and meditating on the word of God, you start loosing faith. And when faith is absent, fear is present.
Don’t be distracted by the happenings around you, be conscious of the power that is at work in you. Glory to God! Ephesians 3:20 AMPC says, “ Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]”
You are the solution of the world, Gods masterpiece so, seize every opportunity to shine and to bring healing to your world.
CONFESSION:
I function by the authority of Jesus and I bring healing to my world.
Today, I take authority over the powers of sickness, of darkness, of fear, and over every demon possessing my thoughts.
I refuse to be afraid, I refuse to fret. I am the light of the world and I shine in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen!
