You have been miraculously blessed with all things that you’d ever require to live and to please God. This blessing is a seed planted in you that will require the right environment for it to grow and produce fruits.
First, the seed was planted because you had faith in God but that’s not enough. It needs to be watered, it needs to be fertilized. You water the seed in you with virtue. Virtue is goodness. It also means integrity; good character.
Blessing is meant to be attractive but if the blessed of God lacks good character, the blessing upon him becomes an offence. Have you ever gotten close to someone who haven’t had their bath but applied a perfume? Even though the perfume had a great fragrance, but missing with sweat will make the fragrance of the perfume ineffective and unpleasant. That’s exactly what the blessing mixed with bad character becomes. It becomes unpleasant and unattractive.
Add you your faith virtue. Exhibit good character, be a person of integrity. Be one people can rely on. Make the blessings of God upon your life attractive. Glory to God!
Just like a talented individual, if they are found under the influence of drugs, no matter how talented they are, they will be disqualified. Don’t allow the lack of integrity get you disqualified. Praise God!
