What would you do if you had a friend who spoke to the dead and the dead comes alive: Who speaks to demons and they are cast out, who speaks to the leper and leprosy is cleaned out? A friend who speaks to the sick and they are healed, and speaks to the storm and there is calmness?
This is Jesus: He is that friend and you have known Him because you have read of Him. He is not a fictional character as some would say, He is and notice my tenses, “HE IS” a real person who lived on earth and now lives in those who believe in Him. He is that friend and He is your friend. Hallelujah!
The revelation of Jesus is the beginning of eternal life. You cannot know Jesus and have the fear of death, or of defeat. Knowing you have Jesus living inside of you, gives you the boldness to say “all things works together for my good.” This is because, you know He lives in you and His presence in your life is an advantage. His presence places you on an edge over the affairs of life. Praise God.
This is why we come to church, this is why we study the scriptures because, the more we know Him, the more we function as Him. Paul said, “that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection…”
The power of His resurrection is the power over death. It is the power over sickness, fear and over the limitations of life.
To live a fearless, ageless, deathless, and glorious life, you ought to know Him. This knowledge puts you ahead in life; it places you on a glorious hill, to be the light of the world so all can through you find their way to Christ Jesus because, you can’t know Him and not want to talk about Him.
The reason many don’t speak about Jesus is because they haven’t know Him yet. You can be in Church, read the bible and still not know Him. This knowledge comes by revelation which only the Holy Spirit can give. “And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 16:17 KJV
Jesus was talking about God the Holy Spirit because, He is the one who is the spirit of revelation.
This is why I say when you read the bible, pray in tongues. When you hear God’s word pray in tongues because by so doing, your spiritual antenna becomes ready to receive supernatural frequencies ___revelations, concerning the person of Christ and when this revelation comes alive in your spirit, it produces the boldness to speak about Jesus. Hallelujah!
The revelation of Jesus can turn you into a new person. It can change your name from the one who always failed to the one who is always winning. It can change your identity of weakness to strength, of lack to plenty and of sorrow to joy. You have read of Him, now allow the Holy Spirit to revel Him to you. Praise God.
PRAYER:
Precious Holy Spirit, thank you for your presence in my life. You are the one who teaches, guides and directs me. Today, I acknowledge your ministry of revelation in my life, and I receive supernatural revelation of the person of Christ Jesus. By this revelation, I run through a troop; and by this revelation, I leaped over a wall for nothing shall be able to stop or defeat me. Amen.
