…David strengthened himself with trust in his God

What do you do when the world appears to be against you?
What do you do when sudden calamity befalls you?
What do you do when it seems God is far from you?
Being a child of God doesn’t eradicate the fact that you might face challenges, it doesn’t erase troubles coming your way or people ganging up against you.
However, being a child of God keeps you at a vantage position, which is the victory position. You will always come out victorious, Hallelujah!
David had lost everything including his wives, children, and the wives and children of his people. They were all captured into captivity by their adversaries to be used as slaves. What a challenging and tough time for anyone to find themselves in.
The bible says David, in the midst of all this catastrophe, strengthened himself by trusting in God. He had a relationship with God, he knew the word of God and has seen God helped him in so many ways and therefore, could bank on the restorative powers of God.
When faced with challengers, you must realize that it is an opportunity for you to put your faith to work. you can either choose to trust and have faith in God, or curse Him. You can either choose to depend on the word of God or be carried away by the words of men.
The depth of the word of God in your spirit will be displayed when you are faced with situations which might appear beyond you. Scripture says, “They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.” Psalm 125:1
You can chose to draw strength by trusting in God over every or any situation disturbing your peace. You can receive healing and complete restoration of health even now, if you can trust on the very words of Jesus, spoken concerning your health.
By the same word of God spoken to David I say to you: you shall pursue, overtake, and shall recover all without fail, if you keep trusting in Jesus. Amen.

By the words of God I declare, I’m empowered to pursue, overtake, and recover all the devil has stolen from me, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen.
