The gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God unto salvation to anyone who believes. This power is only activated in the life of the one who believes but how can one believe if he never heard the gospel?
Scripture says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” Romans 10:13-14 KJV
Salvation is a gift from God however, not many are aware of this gift and this is because not many Christian’s are willing to go out of their way to tell someone about it. You are God’s preacher child of God; entrusted with the word of salvation to declare to everyone. To some it’s foolishness to go out and evangelize, while to some it’s foolishness to go to church and hear sermons preached.
1 Corinthians 1:21 says, “For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.” To the world preaching is foolishness but to God it’s wisdom and it’s through this perceived foolishness that God has chosen to us to save the world.
Preach the word beloved, this is the will of God. Those who carry the gospel scripture says have beautiful feet. God is counting on you to carry this gospel so many can hear, believe and be saved. Glory to God!
