“Yet grace (God’s unmerited favor) was given to each of us individually [not indiscriminately, but in different ways] in proportion to the measure of Christ’s [rich and bounteous] gift.”
Ephesians 4:7 AMPC
God’s grace is the blessing of God, an unmerited Favour giving to man to have, become and to do the supernatural. It’s the spirit of God given to a person to have the ability to be outstandingly different.
Grace is God dwelling in man. God having his abode, his residence in man. John 1:14 says,”The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” The word used for grace in the Hebrew rendering is Charis from where the English word charisma came. It means a divine influence upon the heart reflecting in the life. Grace is a special gift of God given to men through the generosity of Christ.”
Ephesians 4:7 NLT
The Grace Package:
- Salvation: “God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.” – Ephesians 2:8 NLT. —- “For by grace you have been saved by faith. Nothing you did could ever earn this salvation, for it was the love gift from God that brought us to Christ! So no one will ever be able to boast, for salvation is never a reward for good works or human striving.”Ephesians 2:8-9 TPT
- Redemption. Ephesians 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. Redemption which is to completely purchase is in the Greek(Apolutrosis) meaning riddance or ransom in full.
- Forgiveness of sin: total freedom, pardon which no one could have paid for safe Christ.
- The ability to give: “Since you excel in so many ways—in your faith, your gifted speakers, your knowledge, your enthusiasm, and your love from us—I want you to excel also in this gracious act of giving.” 2 Corinthians 8:7 NLT.
Confession:
I function in the reality of God’s grace; God’s special gift to me. By this grace, I live a triumphant, and victorious life everyday: over the system’s and challenges of this world, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
