Light gives direction, and brings happiness to those walking in darkness. The absence of light is darknesses. Darkness is the symbolism of evil, depression, and sorrow. No one in their right minds would want to associate themselves with darkness.
The world has become a dark place with the happenings of many mind blowing evil events. Though we are in this world, we are not of the world. We are not in darkness. as children of God, our lives are not governed by this world, We are the light of the world, we do not walk in darkness.
We are called lights, to give direction to those in the world. To show them the paths that leads to everlasting peace, joy, and happiness which is Christ Jesus.
God lives in us by His spirit. He has made us His city which cannot be hidden because, His light shines brilliantly through us.
We shine by our words, our attitude and by our response to situations around us. We are not to be seen walking as those in the world. Those in the world are moved by their five senses but the child of God, is moved by the spirit of God. We don’t respond to fear rather, we address our fears with the word of God. We face challenges from the stand point of the epignosis of the word of God; the full awareness of the person of God, who dwells in us and is for us. Hallelujah.
You are that light that shines in darkness which cannot be dimmed. Remember who you are always, don’t allow the world define your joy, your happiness or your peace. Choose to shine in this dark world thereby, giving glory to God. God is glorified when you shine so, SHINE! Praise God.
CONFESSION:
I am the light of this world, a city set on a hill. I refuse to be hidden by depression, by fear, by anxiety or by challenges of this life. I shine in this dark world, declaring my health, my peace, my joy, my happiness and my prosperity. There is no darkness in me for Christ, is my light and my salvation. Glory to God.
