God is always speaking to you. He is never far away, neither is He silent. He always wants to be a part of your decisions, your actions, your thoughts, and your words. He wants to be a part of your life in general.
In actuality, you can do nothing without God. Scripture says, ”in him we live, in Him we move, in Him we have our being.” God always speaks through His Holy Spirit living in us to give directions, and to guide us through life. There are many Christians who ask, how can they hear from God? Some asked, “ at what point would God begin to speak to them?”
Truth is, God speaks to us by His spirit through His word. When you spend time to read and study the bible, you will begin to hear the voice of God. God is not separated from His word. He is the word as you can find in John 1:1.
He speaks via the word given to you, and His Spirit communicates these same words to you at all times concerning all areas of your life.
When God speaks to you especially when He gives you an instruction requiring your immediate response, He needs you responding just like Samuel was taught, and He wants you to carry it out immediately. If He speaks to you and you keep holding back, after a while you will find out that His voice will no longer be audible. Not that He stopped speaking, but that you stopped recognizing His voice and that’s a dangerous place to be in.
Psalm 119:105 says, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” The word of God is your guiding light, so imagine not hearing from God, You’d walk in darkness. You will hit your head on a wall, and that means trouble.
When you adhere to the words of the Lord, you’d find out that solutions patterning your health, finances, business, relationships, and family, will be revealed, and your struggles will seize.
What has God told you to do? Act now! Don’t hesitate, don’t fight with your spirit. Trust in the Holy Spirit, and let Him have free course over your being. Hallelujah!
PRAYER:
Dear father, speak to me and I will yield. I know your will for my life is supreme. Thank you for your words of comfort, of direction, of counsel and of grace. Amen!
